Wendy Loftin undertook a project on her Journeymanship, to document reportedly haunted places across the United states, and to provide that resource to those that currently walk the halls of her Alma Mater. Thank you for this wonderful gift and resource, Journeyman!

Wizcoin Exchange

Well met Wizards one and All,
I hope that the day finds everyone in good health and high spirits!
As I sit here this evening with a cup of coffee and a look over the vGSW campus, I find myself genuinely heartened by the life springing up in our virtual halls. vGSW has truly become a gathering place, not just for learning, but also for building friendships and connections that extend well beyond the next assignment.
While access to the main class site and other school resources is automatically removed when someone drops out of their studies, we do not frequently purge the vGSW group roster. This is partly practical, of course, but also because many who remain in the group retain interest in GSW even if life or financial circumstances currently prevent them from enrolling.
With that in mind, I’d like to announce an exciting update coming soon to our Wizcoin Exchange!
Currently, some of you may be familiar with the basic Wizcoin exchange rate, where 1,000 Wizcoins can be traded for L$50. Very soon we will significantly enhance the value of your time in vGSW by increasing this exchange rate. Once the update is live, you will be able to exchange 1,000 Wizcoins for L$3,500.
To participate once this new rate is available, you will need the GSW HUD Mk2, which is available to members of the vGSW Official Group. As you spend time in vGSW actively participating, connecting, and engaging with fellow Wizards, the HUD will quietly keep track, awarding you one Wizcoin for every fifteen minutes you spend on campus. You will then be able to exchange your Wizcoins in batches of 1,000 for L$3,500.
To be fair, this particular benefit is not something available to just anyone passing by. Rather, it is specifically for those who are currently enrolled, have graduated, or have otherwise been part of the GSW community at some point.
When the new system is in place, you will be able to cash out your Linden Dollars for US dollars, which can then be used as you see fit, including putting them toward enrollment fees if you wish. There will be no cap, meaning that the more engaged you are, the more benefits you will reap.
To give you a clear sense of how the numbers will look when the improved rate goes live, a Wizard spending roughly ten hours each week in vGSW will earn enough over a year to cash out about $70, which covers roughly two-thirds of a month’s enrollment. For those especially active, putting in about thirty hours weekly, you will earn enough annually to cash out just over $200, covering about two full months of enrollment. The improved rate is meant to steadily reward those who genuinely invest their time.
Some might wonder about simply logging in and letting time do the work. While I don't see a reason to forbid it, I would strongly encourage everyone to treat this as an opportunity to truly engage.
As with most things in Wizardry, you will get out what you put in.
What pleases me most about this updated system is that it will provide a meaningful path for those who have had to pause their studies, similar in spirit to a scholarship but with greater personal control. By actively participating in the community, anyone can earn their way back into class.
As we prepare to launch this improved system, I’ve set a simple milestone to keep the School on firm footing: we’ll move forward with the enhanced Wizcoin exchange rate once we’ve welcomed two additional lifetime enrollments. I’ll keep everyone posted as we approach that goal, and I’m genuinely looking forward to seeing how this new system rewards your time and supports our community.
I hope you will keep making the most of vGSW and bringing your best to the campus and to one another. There is real excitement in the air, and I am looking forward to all the ways this new system will help our community grow, connect, and thrive in the days ahead.

as always I hope that the day finds you in good health and high spirits!
It is with no small amount of excitement that we announce the launch of our official Partnership Program here at GSW! From time to time, the world presents us with opportunities to welcome new voices to the wider journey of esoteric learning, an ongoing effort to kindle curiosity, nurture discernment, and inspire meaningful service in the communities we call home. With this program, we hope to connect with those whose work reflects these values, inviting them to help broaden our circle and introduce the School to new audiences. As part of this effort, partners will have the opportunity to offer a tuition discount to their audience, and for every five pupils who enroll using a partner’s code, an honorarium of $100 will be awarded in recognition of their contribution.
We believe that true collaboration should be mutually beneficial. After all, it seems only right to offer a gesture of thanks to those who help us reach new communities and introduce the School to future pupils!

A Midsummer's Night's Dream Performance

Coming to our virtual campus, vGSW, this July, we are proud to present A Midsummer Night’s Dream originally by William Shakespeare. Through this play we will experience laughs, drama, and struggles with romance. Follow four Athenians as they try to escape arranged marriages only to find themselves deep in a forest inhabited by fairies and a troupe practicing for their own play.
This production is brought to you by Apprentice Leadership and starring your fellow GSW peers. With the inclusion of a ritual specially crafted for this play, it is sure to be a magickal experience for all! Come and join us for an evening to remember!
